Information submitted through forms
CARFY stores form submissions to handle enquiries. This includes your full name, phone number and any additional information, such as email, message and details of your chosen car or financing. A business enquiry also includes the Polish company tax ID (NIP).
Technical request data, including IP address and browser information, is stored with the enquiry, along with the time and exact wording of the accepted contact consent. Contact field contents and free-text messages are not stored as analytics event contents.
Settings stored on your device
Saved cars, comparisons, price mode and information needed to return to the list are stored in this browser. They support these features. You can use them without an account or analytics consent. These choices do not automatically transfer to another device.
The browser data deletion button on this page removes local choices and settings. It does not delete previously submitted enquiries.
Analytics and your consent
Browser analytics starts once the website confirms your consent. It uses random identifiers for this browser and session. It does not link devices. Refusing consent does not disable the catalogue, comparison, saved cars or forms.
You manage analytics consent and history separately from local vehicle settings. Withdrawing consent stops measurement and deletes pending events. Details of measurement, retention and deletion are described below.
Questions about data
You can use the contact form to ask about data submitted with an enquiry. Describe the matter and provide the information needed to identify it. Do not send identity documents or data unnecessary to clarify the question.
Analytics with your consent
With consent, we record visits, searches, interest in cars, current saved cars and comparisons, and the path to submitting an enquiry. A random identifier represents this browser. We do not link devices or store entered contact details or free text in analytics. An enquiry may be linked to this browser's observed history.
We retain detailed events and links for up to 13 months and aggregate counters without a browser identifier for up to 25 months. Pending browser events and exports expire after 24 hours. Withdrawing consent stops measurement and clears the queue. You can delete history separately in analytics settings.
We remember your consent choice and the necessary key for deleting history from earlier consent periods. This key is used only for deletion. Clearing all cookies may prevent us from identifying earlier history. Deleting analytics does not delete submitted enquiries or sales documents.
Data stored in this browser
This browser stores saved cars, comparisons, price display preferences, your instalment calculator settings and your return position in the list. With analytics consent, we also measure your current vehicle selections and their changes. The deletion below covers local choices and settings. This tab also stores the interpretation of your last search for 30 minutes so it remains available after a page refresh.
